Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
We are quietly proud to mention as an aside to normal news the appearance of a new UI in the Shopify product management admin that emerged merely 2 weeks after we showed their lead developer a new inventory management we had built for our long standing client Evisu. Their lead developer came back mentioning how much he liked the UI.
We’re very happy to have been inspiration for Shopify!
UPDATE:
Tobias Lütke directly acknowledged his inspiration for the shopify products listing as coming from our inventory UI in an email to Evisu. What a nice young man.

Paris Municiple WiFi
The Paris local municipality has recently covered the city in free WiFi hotspots (~250) – and whilst the official site does give you a map it wasn’t up to scratch for me so I just whipped up a google maps mashup bringing the locations together all on one map.
If you live in Paris or you’re coming to visit I hope this will be helpful.
